    My first job was when I was 12 years old back in Venezuela. I had a soccer World Cup album and I was collecting all the soccer player cards to fill the album and did not have money to get them so I went to my neighborhood grocery store and asked the cash register lady if I could bag the groceries so I can get tips from the customers. So I would say that my first job was as a grocery store bagger.

    Lesme Romero and Reinaldo Gonzalez became good friends as college students in Cleveland. They had grown up in South America with Spanish fathers and Italian mothers, and both loved good food.

While current distribution is small and highly targeted, the founders have ambitious growth plans for their brand and its growing line of freshly made pasta products. Currently, they are distributing through both wholesale and retail channels, and the company plans to have a presence at the Lexington Farmer’s Market in 2010.
